I guess I haven’t updated my running log in a while.  I’m at 492.2 miles for the year, so I’m on track to surpass 500 miles by June 30th (and therefore on track to complete 1000 miles again this year).  The Hartford Marathon is now 4 months away, so I’ve officially started training again.  This will be my tenth marathon!  Here’s my training log:

Helen Update:
It’s been a big month for Helen, with finishing 8th grade and moving on to high school, so I’ll feature her again this month.  First some pictures before the Eighth Grade Dance.

Charlie's Angels

Eating donuts before the dance.  (It was National Donut Day, after all.)

One serious photo for the parents

And then the Eighth Grade Stepping Forth Ceremony.

And finally Helen's violin recital <3

Finally, NO NF UPDATE—we’re on vacation!

We’re just finishing up a lovely week in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  We had absolutely gorgeous weather every day—warm, sunny, dry, and breezy.  We stayed bayside in Eastham where we enjoyed swimming at high tide, and collecting shells and taking walks on the beach at low tide.  And we biked everywhere.  We rode bike trails over to the ocean side where we played in the big waves of the National Seashore.  We biked along the bayside, to our favorite lunch place (Box Lunch), and always seemed to end our rides at Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream :)
